Gifted, with GRIT
Talent and IQ alone are not enough to get to the top. Which is why ING looks beyond these when selecting the next generation of top talents, for example also considering social skills and perseverance. We draw inspiration from talent at organisations that we support or care about, such as the Young Captain Awards, Unseen and the Junior Company of the Dutch National Ballet. It turns out that ‘GRIT’ is key to making a breakthrough. GRIT means being passionate about a long-term goal, and finding the right inspiration and having the resilience and perseverance to go for it.
